From the Heart of the world to yours, we are proud to present the first product to come from the 80-20 System. A system that is for all and by all who wish. It changes how we interact with the world, allowing the evolution in consciousness that is taking place to have the space to explore and grow, heeding the conditions for emergence. Heart of the Earth Cacao, offers a quality that does not yet exist on the market. The positive impacts to the body, mind, environment and systemic change have not been encountered elsewhere. It is our dream that one day soon our standards will be the norm, rather than the exception.

There is a lot of magic in cacao, it has the power to take us on a journey to the heart, like no other. If we are willing to open up to it, there are many gifts to receive from its teachings. Many of us are unaware that cacao is a teacher plant with much wisdom to share. When ingested in its pure form, with intention and at the right dosage, we can journey inwards with love as a guide to explore our innerworld from an open-hearted perspective. The overwhelming consensus is that cacao works with our heart energy and releases feel-good endorphins as it opens up the gates of love, so to speak. We have had many profound experiences connecting with the higher consciousness of this cacao. We feel it is time to share this experience with others. Join one of our cacao rituals
in person or online here and experience its effects for yourself.

The medicinal qualities of cacao are vast,

providing a high source of iron and magnesium, as well as calcium, copper and zinc. It contains vitamins A,B,C and E and has a very high antioxidant count. Cacao in its pure form alters moods, stimulating feelings of bliss and euphoria. Anandamide, sometimes referred to as the “bliss molecule” , derives its name from the Sanskrit word ‘ananda’ which translates into joy, bliss or happiness. It is an endocannabinoid which links up with the natural cannabinoid receptors in the body to elevate calmness and tranquility. Theobromine, from ancient Greek translates into ‘food of the gods’ and improves mood and cognitive function, along with Tryptophan which also helps regulate mood. Phenylethylamine is thought to be the ‘love molecule’ and the reason cacao is an aphrodisiac. It mimics the brain chemistry produced when we fall in love, providing antidepressant qualities. Perhaps that’s why, culturally, chocolate is given to cheer people up.

The Kogui and Wiwa tribes make up the majority of the cacao cooperative that cultivates our Heart of the Earth cacao. Their cultures are wisdom based and focused on maintaining the law of origin or natural order of the cosmos, which when followed, elicits harmony.

Cacao has been helping us improve many areas of life, both internally and externally.

This cacao is part of a movement to restructure the farming industry from soil to soul. Grown in the first cooperative to join the 80-20 System, Heart of the Earth Cacao is a bridge, from the heart of Mother Earth to ours and from our head to our heart. There are four tribes that have been guarding the heart of the world for generations, a region now known as the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia. Two of them, the Kogui and Wiwa tribes, make up the majority of the cacao cooperative that cultivates our Heart of the Earth cacao. Their cultures are wisdom based and focused on maintaining the law of origin or natural order of the cosmos, which when followed, elicits harmony. Their spiritual masters known as Mamas, or Mamos for the males (depending on the language) and the sagas for the females, maintain balance and order through systems of exchange in the form of reciprocity with all our relations.

The second principle of
Holistic Design, found at ufhd.ca, Return, states that nothing should come at a debt. Everything we use from the natural world must be accounted for to maintain harmony. When we take more than we return, the world is left with a debt. The 80-20 System, like the cultures of the four tribes, is all about reciprocity and building systems that are regenerative and valuable for all.

Following the principle of return the 80-20 System and the four tribes ensure the farms are productive and regenerative within the ecosystem. Grown in polyculture farming systems, without the use of any synthetic pesticides, this pure cacao is unique in many ways. The soils of the Sierra have been tested and contain some of the lowest levels of cadmium of any cacao-growing region in the world. This makes it perfect for use as a superfood. The 80-20 System creates a network of biological reserves and cooperatives ensuring that as the system grows, so does the health and prosperity of all who call this planet home. By purchasing this cacao or any other product from the 80-20 System, we are investing in the health and prosperity of our whole planet. When someone donates more than $84 CAD to the Universal Foundation for Holistic Design, Heart of the Earth Cacao is offering 500 grams of ceremonial-grade cacao as a gift (not including shipping).
